What does this fault code mean?
The passenger door module (PDM) supplies the camera on the passenger side. The control module has flagged a signal from the output that is too high, and the fault is stored when the supply wire is short-circuited to supply voltage or has a break. The LED then does not light, and a message may appear in the information display.
Possible causes
- Power supply cable to the camera short-circuited to supply voltage
- Break in the power supply cable
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Drive the car and note whether the passenger-side blind spot warning appears
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the passenger-side camera has no break and no contact with supply voltage
- 4Look for damage and chafing in the wiring to the passenger door and in the passenger-side external mirror
- 5Repair the wire or connector where you find a fault; if none is found, have a workshop check the camera
