What does this fault code mean?
The control modules in the rear doors (LDM/RDM) power the LED in the central lock button that shows the locked or unlocked state, and they send information about it to the driver or passenger door module (DDM/PDM). The control module has registered a signal voltage that is too low when it tries to light the LED. The cause is a power supply cable short-circuited to ground.
Possible causes
- Power supply cable short-circuited to ground
- Moisture and/or oxidation in the connections
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Test the central locking and note whether the LED in the button changes state
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the LED is not short-circuited to ground (the body)
- 4Look for moisture and oxidation in the connectors and wiring to the rear door control module and remedy them
- 5Remedy as needed, then check that the LED shows the locked and unlocked states
Symptoms you may notice1

What the fault can affect1
