What does this fault code mean?
The PDM talks to the camera on the passenger side over LIN, a standardised serial communication method. The module has logged a fault inside its link with the camera, and the code is set as a result.
Possible causes
- A fault inside the camera in the passenger door
What you can do
- 1Activate the blind spot system and check that the LEDs flash three times; then start the engine and check that the LED works
- 2Read the code, clear it and run a test drive. If the code does not come back, no further action is needed, as the fault may have been temporary
- 3Check that the connectors at the camera and the door module are secure and free from moisture and oxidation
- 4Check that the wire between the door module and the camera is intact and free from visible damage
- 5If the fault remains: have a workshop check the camera on the passenger side and replace it if needed
