What does this fault code mean?
The driver and passenger door modules (DDM/PDM) continuously receive outdoor temperature information from the engine control module (ECM) and check its quality. If the quality of the signal is lower than the module can accept, the code is set.
Possible causes
- The fault lies in the engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1If you have diagnostic equipment, read the codes in the engine control module (ECM) first, as the fault is located there
- 2Clear the code only after the fault in the engine control module has been put right, then check whether it comes back
- 3Have a workshop trace the fault in the engine control module, as the source of the fault is there
