Although the code is named signal too low from the GPS antenna, it applies to the signal cable between the antenna and the carphone control module (PHM) being short-circuited to ground. The fault is intermittent, so it may have come and gone. When it occurs, a message appears in the text display.
Possible causes
- The signal cable between the GPS antenna and the carphone control module is short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Check that the connectors on the GPS antenna cable and at the carphone control module (PHM) are secure and free from corrosion
- 2If the connectors are in order, use a multimeter to check that the antenna cable has no contact with ground (the body)
