What does this fault code mean?
The carphone control module (PHM) has registered a fault in communication on the MOST network, which links the parts of the infotainment system. The reason can be an internal fault in the MOST transceiver of the control module, or interrupted communication on the network. The telephone works poorly or not at all, and some infotainment functions may stop working.
Possible causes
- Fault in the connection to the MOST network
- Fault in the MOST transceiver of the phone control module (PHM)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code before clearing it, so the workshop can see it
- 2Check whether the radio and the CD player work as normal; if they do, the fault is probably inside the phone control module
- 3Have a workshop check the connection to the MOST network and replace the carphone control module (PHM) if the fault remains
Symptoms you may notice2
- No or reduced carphone functionality
- Infotainment functions stop working
