What does this fault code mean?
The carphone control module (PHM) holds an internal parameter file that tells it how it is configured, and its software checks that the file is correct. The code is set when the file is in the wrong format, which comes from an incorrect parameter file. The mobile phone may then work poorly or not at all.
Possible causes
- Incorrect internal parameter file
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code before clearing it, so the workshop can see it
- 2Road test the car and check whether the mobile phone works
- 3Have a workshop reload the software in the carphone control module (PHM), since the fault lies in the parameter file
Symptoms you may notice2
