What does this fault code mean?
The carphone control module (PHM) monitors the voltage on the spare loudspeaker, and the code is set when the voltage is too low. The reason is that the spare loudspeaker is short-circuited to ground. Volvo On Call can then work poorly, the telephone may have other problems, and a warning symbol appears.

What you can do
- 1Read and note the code before clearing it, so the workshop can see it
- 2Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the spare loudspeaker for a short to ground
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the carphone control module (PHM)
