What does this fault code mean?
The carphone control module (PHM) has found an internal fault in its components. The fault is detected when the handset is used, so the code may only appear then. Hands-free and the handset may stop working, and a text message appears with a warning symbol.

What you can do
- 1Read and note the code before clearing it, so the workshop can see it
- 2Road test the car and use both the handset and hands-free to see which function works
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the carphone control module (PHM)
