What does this fault code mean?
The carphone control module (PHM) monitors the handset signal, meaning the cradle switch, and the code is set when it is too low. The cause is that the cradle signal wire between the handset and the control module is short-circuited to ground. The handset then does not work for calls, but hands-free does.
Possible causes
- The cradle signal wire between the handset and the control module is short-circuited to ground
