What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) checks the antenna voltage. The fault is stored when the voltage is too low, which is due to the wire between the antenna and the telephone module being short-circuited to ground. Mobile reception in the phone can then be poor.
Possible causes
- The wire from the antenna to the telephone module (PHM) is short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Check that the connectors at the antenna and at the telephone module are firmly seated and not corroded
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the antenna cable has no contact with ground (the body)
- 4Clear the code and check whether it returns after a road test. If it does, a workshop should check the antenna
Symptoms you may notice4
