What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) registers a break in the wire carrying the telephone antenna signal, more precisely the signal to the internal back-up antenna. The fault can make reception on the phone poor or absent.
Possible causes
- A break in the signal to the internal back-up antenna
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Look for corrosion and loose connectors at the telephone antenna and the telephone module
- 3Clear the code and check whether it returns. If it remains, a workshop should read the back-up antenna with diagnostic equipment
