What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) checks at start-up and shutdown whether all parts of its software belong together. The fault is stored when they do not, and then the mobile phone and Volvo On Call may work poorly or not at all.
Possible causes
- The control module has faulty software
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 3If it returns, a workshop must install a software version that suits the telephone module, as this requires programming
