What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) checks the internal components of the control module, and the fault is stored when an internal fault has occurred. The phone and Volvo On Call can then have no function or reduced function, and a message appears in the text display.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the telephone module
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Clear the code and road test the car. If it returns, the telephone module is probably the cause
- 3If the fault remains after the road test, a workshop should replace the telephone module
