What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) checks its internal components. The fault is stored when an internal fault has occurred, and it is checked while the handset is in use. The phone functions, hands-free and Volvo On Call can then have no function or reduced function.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the telephone module
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Clear the code and test the handset and hands-free. If the fault returns, the telephone module is the cause
- 3If the fault remains, a workshop should replace the telephone module, which also applies if the fault only occurs now and then
