What does this fault code mean?
The telephone module (PHM) checks its internal components while it has power, and the fault is stored when an internal memory fault is found. The phone, Volvo On Call and messages in the text display can then be affected.
Possible causes
- The telephone module (PHM) is damaged
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Clear the code and road test the car. If it returns, the memory in the telephone module is damaged
- 3If the fault remains after the road test, a workshop should replace the telephone module
