What does this fault code mean?
The left front seat module (PSL) registers too low a voltage on one of the seat's signal wires. The fault is stored when this occurs.
Possible causes
- One of the seat's signal wires is shorted to ground
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code and clear it
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the seat signal wires have no contact with earth (the body)
- 3Look for chafing or pinching damage on the seat wiring, especially where it moves when the seat is adjusted
- 4If a short is found, repair or replace the damaged wire, or have a workshop do it
- 5Once the short is fixed, test all seat functions with the controls in every direction
