What does this fault code mean?
The button for memory 1 has been activated for too long, and the fault code is set at that point. The memory buttons may stop working while the fault is present.
Possible causes
- The memory 1 operating button has stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Press in and release memory button 1 and check that it is not stuck
- 2Read and note the fault code, clear it and test the memory button to see whether the code returns
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data that the button value changes when memory button 1 is pressed and released
- 4Look for damage on the control panel around the memory buttons
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the button or the control panel
