What does this fault code mean?
The button for memory 2 has been activated for too long, and the fault code is set at that point. The memory buttons may stop working while the fault is present.
Possible causes
- The memory 2 operating button has stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Press in and release memory button 2 and check that it has not stuck
- 2Read the fault code, note it and clear it, then test the memory button to see whether the code comes back
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data that the button value changes when memory button 2 is pressed and released
- 4Check that the control panel around the memory buttons has no damage
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the button or the control panel
