What does this fault code mean?
The memory button has been activated for too long, and the fault code is set when this happens. The memory buttons may then stop working.
Possible causes
- The memory button has stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Press in and release the memory button and check that it is not stuck
- 2Read and note the fault code, clear it and test the memory button to see whether it returns
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data that the button value changes when the memory button is pressed and released
- 4Look for damage on the control panel
- 5If the fault comes back, have a workshop replace the button or the control panel
