The controls for forward and backward seat length adjustment have been activated at the same time, and the fault code is set then. Length adjustment then does not work.
Possible causes
- Incorrect handling of the control panel
- Damaged control panel
- Damaged left front seat module (PSL)
What you can do
- 1Make sure you are not pressing both length adjustment buttons at once; release both and try again
- 2Read and note the fault code, clear it and run the seat forwards and backwards to see whether it returns
- 3Look for damage on the control panel and check that the buttons return when released
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data that the control value changes when the forward and backward buttons are pressed one at a time
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the control panel and the left front seat module (PSL)
