What does this fault code mean?
The controls for forward and backward backrest tilt have been activated at the same time, and the fault code is set then. Backrest adjustment then does not work.
Possible causes
- Incorrect handling of the control panel
- Damaged control panel
- Damaged left front seat module (PSL)
What you can do
- 1Do not press the forward and backward backrest controls together; release both and try again
- 2Read the fault code, note it and clear it, then test the backrest to see whether the code returns
- 3Check that the control panel is not damaged and that the buttons return when released
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data that each backrest button's value changes when it is pressed on its own
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the control panel and the left front seat module (PSL)
