What does this fault code mean?
The left front seat module (PSL) receives no signal from motor 1, which controls the seat's length adjustment, while the motor is activated. The fault code is set then.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal wire to motor 1
- Blown fuse
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and run the seat to see whether it returns
- 2Check the fuse for the left front seat module (PSL)
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to motor 1 is not open
- 4If an open circuit is found, repair or replace the signal wire, or have a workshop do it
- 5If no fault is found, have a workshop check the seat motor and possibly replace it
