What does this fault code mean?
The left front seat module (PSL) receives no signal from motor 4, which raises and lowers the front edge of the seat, while the motor is activated. The fault code is set then.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal wire to motor 4
- Blown fuse
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, note it and clear it, then raise and lower the front edge to see whether it returns
- 2Check the fuse for the left front seat module (PSL)
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to motor 4 is continuous
- 4If an open circuit is found, repair or replace the signal wire, or have a workshop do it
- 5If no fault is found, have a workshop check the front-edge height motor and possibly replace it
