What does this fault code mean?
The easy-entry control, which moves the seat backwards and tilts the backrest, has been activated for too long, and the fault code is set then. The function button then does not work and seat functions may get worse.
Possible causes
- The easy-entry control has stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Press in and release the backward easy-entry control and check that it is not stuck
- 2If the control sticks because of dirt, or something blocks it from returning, clean it or remove the obstruction
- 3Read the fault code, note it and clear it, then test the control to see whether the code comes back
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the control value in live data when the easy-entry control is pressed and released
- 5If the control does not return and the cause is not dirt or an object, have a workshop replace the control panel
Symptoms you may notice2
- The function button does not work
- Seat functions work worse than normal
