What does this fault code mean?
The control module has lost the information about the front seat's position, and the fault code is set once the seat has been operated. Seat functions then work worse and the seat needs to be initialised again.
Possible causes
- The seat position information has been lost in the control module
What you can do
- 1Make sure nothing is blocking the seat's movement, as this could disturb a new initialisation
- 2Have a workshop initialise the seat position, since it requires a specific procedure
- 3After initialisation, check that the code no longer appears among the stored faults
- 4Check that the connectors to the control module are secure and free from corrosion
