What does this fault code mean?
The fault is intermittent, meaning it has been registered on an earlier occasion but is not present now. The power seat module (PSM) found that the stored setting in memory position 1 does not match the calculated checksum. Memory button 1 then does not work.
Possible causes
- Memory position 1 is not stored
- Memory position 1 is stored incorrectly
What you can do
- 1Store the seat setting again in memory position 1 and check that the memory button works.
- 2Clear the fault code and use memory button 1 several times to see whether the fault returns.
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the power seat module (PSM), since the fault is then in the module.
