What does this fault code mean?
The fault is intermittent, meaning it has been registered on an earlier occasion but is not present now. The power seat module (PSM) has noticed that the setting in memory position 3 differs from the calculated checksum. Memory function 3 then does not work.
Possible causes
- Memory position 3 is not stored
- Memory position 3 is stored incorrectly
What you can do
- 1Store the seat position in memory position 3 again, then try the function.
- 2Clear the fault code and check whether it returns after a few uses of memory function 3.
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the power seat module (PSM).
