What does this fault code mean?
The fault is intermittent: the power seat module (PSM) has on an earlier occasion registered an open circuit in the LH/RH detection of the control panel. The open circuit is not present now. The seat then cannot be adjusted with the control panel.
Possible causes
- Control panel not connected
- Defective control panel
- Open circuit in the control circuit (LH/RH)
What you can do
- 1Check that the control panel sits firmly in its socket and is not loose or corroded.
- 2Move the connector and the wiring to the control panel while you test the seat functions. If the seat stops or the fault code returns, the connection is suspect.
- 3Try a new control panel if you suspect the old one is defective.
- 4If the fault remains with a new control panel, have a workshop check the control circuit (LH/RH) and the control module.
