What does this fault code mean?
The fault is intermittent: button M4- for lowering the seat angle has on an earlier occasion been held in longer than allowed, but the fault is not present now. The operation button then does not function.
Possible causes
- Button M4- has jammed in the pressed position
- Defective control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that button M4- has not jammed in the pressed position and that it returns.
- 2Check that the connector to the control panel is firmly seated and free from oxidation, and look for chafed wiring.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to button M4- has no contact with ground (the body).
- 4If the fault remains after this, have a workshop replace the control panel.
