What does this fault code mean?
The fault code means motor 3, which controls the rear edge height of the seat, does not move although it is activated. The circuit is open at signal cable M3+, and several seat functions then do not work, including height adjustment.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in signal cable M3+
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact.
- 2Check that the connector to motor 3 is firmly seated and free from corrosion.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that signal cable M3+ has no open circuit.
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: activate motor 3 and listen for it to start.
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the wiring and the control module.

- Automatic adjustment of power seat and outer mirror does not work
- Front seat electric adjustment and folding do not work
- The automatic memory adjustment of the front seat is not working
