What does this fault code mean?
The fault code means motor 2, which controls the backrest rake, does not move although it is activated. This is caused by an open circuit in signal cable M2+, and backrest adjustment then does not work.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in signal cable M2+
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact.
- 2Check that the connector to motor 2 is firmly seated and free from corrosion.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that wire M2+ has no open circuit.
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: activate motor 2 and listen for it to start.
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the wiring and the control module.
