What does this fault code mean?
The fault code means the control M1-, which moves the seat backward in the front-rear direction, has been activated for too long. Front-rear adjustment then does not work, and the seat functions are reduced.
Possible causes
- Control M1- has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that control M1- has not jammed in the pressed position and that it springs back when released.
- 2Remove anything, such as dirt, that may hold button M1- down, and make sure it moves freely.
- 3Clear the fault code and see whether it comes back when the seat is adjusted as usual.
- 4If the fault remains, or if the button is damaged, have a workshop replace the control panel.
Symptoms you may notice3
- Reduced seat function
- Lengthwise adjustment does not work
- Electric seat adjustment and folding of the front seat do not work
