What does this fault code mean?
The power seat control module (PSM) has registered an internal fault, and the cause is that the voltage supplied to the module is too low. Without enough voltage the module cannot control the seat.
Possible causes
- The power supply to the control module is too low
What you can do
- 1Check that the battery is charged and that its terminals are tight
- 2Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 3With a multimeter, check that the seat control module receives battery voltage when the ignition is on. If it is missing, check the wiring for open circuits and loose connectors
- 4Clear the code and test the seat. If it returns even though the voltage is correct, have a workshop check the control module
