What does this fault code mean?
The right power seat control module (PSR) has registered that control M1+, which moves the seat forwards, has been activated for longer than allowed. The control may have jammed in the pressed position.
Possible causes
- Control M1+ has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 2Press the forward adjustment control in and release it; it should spring back freely. If it sticks or stays down, the control panel is the fault
- 3Test the seat with the control and check whether the seat moves forwards while the switch is held and stops when it is released
- 4Check that the control panel is firmly fitted and not damaged, wet or dirty around the buttons
- 5Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns and the control still sticks, replace the control panel
Symptoms you may notice1
