What does this fault code mean?
The right power seat control module (PSR) has registered that control M3-, which lowers the rear edge of the seat, has been activated for longer than allowed. The control may have jammed in the pressed position.
Possible causes
- Control M3- has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 2Press the control to lower the rear edge in and release it. It should spring back freely; if it sticks, the control panel needs attention
- 3Test the seat and check whether the rear edge lowers while the control is held, and stops when it is released
- 4Check that the control panel is firmly fitted and not damaged, wet or dirty around the buttons
- 5Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns and the control still sticks, replace the control panel
