What does this fault code mean?
The operating button for memory 1 has been held pressed for longer than allowed, which sets the code in the right power seat control module (PSR). The button may have jammed in the pressed position, or the control panel may be damaged. The memory button then does not work.
Possible causes
- The operating button for memory 1 has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 2Press memory button 1 in and release it. It should spring back freely; if it sticks or stays down, the control panel is the fault
- 3Check that the control panel is firmly fitted and not damaged, wet or dirty around the buttons
- 4Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns and the button still sticks, replace the control panel
