What does this fault code mean?
The right power seat control module (PSR) has registered that the MEM button, used to store a seat position, has been activated for longer than allowed. The button may have jammed in the pressed position, or the control panel may be damaged.
Possible causes
- The MEM button has stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 2Press the MEM button in and release it. It should spring back freely; if it sticks or stays down, the control panel is the fault
- 3Check that the control panel is firmly fitted and not damaged, wet or dirty around the buttons
- 4Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns and the MEM button still sticks, replace the control panel
Symptoms you may notice1
- The memory button does not work
