What does this fault code mean?
The easy-entry control, which moves the seat forwards and tilts the backrest forwards, has been activated for longer than allowed in the right power seat control module (PSR). The control has jammed in the pressed position, or the control panel is damaged.
Possible causes
- The easy-entry control has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Check whether the control is sticking because of dirt or because something stops it from returning
- 2Press the control in and release it. It should spring back freely; if it does not, even though it is clean and clear, the control panel is the fault
- 3Check that the seat fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse chart
- 4Clear the code after the checks and road test the car. If it returns, replace the control panel
Symptoms you may notice2
- The push button does not work
- Seat function is reduced
