What does this fault code mean?
The radio receiver (RDAR) compares its configuration number with the one the central electronic module (CEM) sends on the CAN network. If they do not match, the code is set and the digital radio does not work.
Possible causes
- Wrong configuration number on the CAN network; the unit may be secondhand with other software or hardware
What you can do
- 1Check that the receiver is intended for this specific car; a secondhand unit with other software or hardware can give this code
- 2Have a workshop download new software to the digital radio receiver
- 3Clear the code after the work and road test the car. If it returns, have a workshop carry on with the fault-tracing
