What does this fault code mean?
The digital radio receiver module (RDAR) has registered an internal fault in its own control module. The code is stored when the module detects that one of its internal components is not working, and the digital radio then stops working. The cause lies in the receiver itself, not in a signal from another part of the car.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module for the digital radio (RDAR)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the battery is charged and that the voltage in the car's electrical system is normal
- 3Check that the fuse for the digital radio has not blown
- 4If the fault returns after the test drive, have a workshop replace the digital radio receiver (RDAR)
