What does this fault code mean?
The digital radio receiver (RDAR) monitors its own internal temperature. The code is stored when the temperature inside the receiver goes above a set level, and the digital radio then stops working. The fault comes from the receiver itself becoming too hot.
Possible causes
- Excessive temperature in the digital radio receiver
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Note when the fault appears, for example after a long drive, and tell the workshop
- 3If the fault returns after the test drive, have a workshop replace the digital radio receiver (RDAR)
Symptoms you may notice1
