What does this fault code mean?
When the rear electronic module (REM) detects an internal fault, the code is set. The fault is inside the control module itself. The fuel gauge and the locks for the tailgate and fuel cap can then stop working.

- Internal fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors to the rear electronic module are secure and free from corrosion
- 3If the fault remains after the test drive, have a workshop replace the rear electronic module (REM)
Symptoms you may notice3
- The fuel gauge does not work
- No locking or unlocking of the tailgate
- The fuel filler cap does not lock or unlock
