Possible causes
- Faulty relay, with a short circuit in the relay coil
- Defective control module
What you can do
- 1Replace the tailgate unlocking relay with a new one and check that the tailgate unlocks
- 2If unlocking works after the replacement, the relay was the fault

- 4If it still does not work, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module
