What does this fault code mean?
The rear electronic module (REM) receives the car's setup data from the CEM, which is the central electronic module. The code is set when the REM's signal configuration does not match the car. The cause is incorrect software downloaded into the REM, and the alarm then cannot be activated.
Possible causes
- Incorrect software has been downloaded into the REM
What you can do
- 1The fault is caused by the wrong software in the REM, so clearing the code alone will not fix it
- 2Have a workshop check which software the REM has and download the correct software for the car
- 3Then check that the alarm can be activated again
Symptoms you may notice2
- The alarm cannot be activated
- The alarm does not start, with no audible or visible signal
