What does this fault code mean?
The rear seat entertainment module (RSE) checks the video signal from the integrated audio module (IAM). The code is set when the video signal is missing or wrong. Without a video signal from IAM there is no picture in the rear seats.
Possible causes
- No video signal is received from the integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2Start the engine, select the integrated audio module (IAM) as the media source and check whether the picture appears in the rear seats
- 3For picture faults: check that IAM, the infotainment control module (ICM) and the RSE share the same ground point and that the contacts are free from oxidation
- 4With diagnostic equipment, read the parameters in the RSE and see whether the video signal from IAM appears there
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check IAM and the wiring between it and the RSE
