What does this fault code mean?
The rear seat entertainment module (RSE) checks how the screens are fitted. The code is set when the RSE interprets both screens as the right-hand screen.
Possible causes
- Incorrect cable routing to the screens
- Open circuit on the local CAN network
- Short-circuit on the local CAN network to ground or to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2Test the functions with the buttons and controls or on a road test to see how the screens behave
- 3If the picture is faulty, make sure the IAM, ICM and RSE are grounded at one common point and that the contacts are free from oxidation
- 4Check that the cables to the screens are routed correctly, with no chafing or pinching
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check communication on the local CAN network and the RSE parameters
