What does this fault code mean?
The rear seat entertainment module (RSE) checks that an approved screen is fitted on the right side. The code is set when the serial number of the right screen cannot be read or is not on the approved list.
Possible causes
- The right screen has an invalid serial number
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2Check that the connectors to the right screen are fully seated and free from oxidation
- 3With diagnostic equipment, read the RSE parameters and see whether the serial number of the right screen can be read
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check communication between the RSE and the screen and download new software to the RSE if needed
