What does this fault code mean?
The RSE keeps watch on the video feed from the television module (TVM). The code is set when there is no video signal at all. Without a video signal there is no picture in the rear seats.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the video signal from the TV module (TVM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2With the ignition switched off, use a multimeter to check that the video cable between the TV module and the rear seat entertainment has no open circuit
- 3Check that the connectors at the TV module and at the rear seat entertainment are fully seated and free from oxidation
- 4Test the functions with the buttons and controls to see whether a picture appears right now
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the RSE
