What does this fault code mean?
The rear seat entertainment control unit (RSE) checks the CAN signal between itself and the screens. The code is set when that signal is missing or wrong. The cause is an open circuit in the CAN cable.

What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2With the negative battery lead disconnected, use a multimeter to check that the CAN cable is intact between the RSE and the screens
- 3Check that the connectors are fully seated and free from oxidation; move the cable and see whether the reading changes
- 4With diagnostic equipment and the engine running, read the RSE parameters and see whether communication with the screens is listed
- 5If the cable is intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the RSE and the screens
